Welcome to PledgeYourAllegiance.net (PYA for short) — a search engine for products made in the USA. Our index is kept current by our spider, so we're always adding new products and Web sites, and removing broken links, to make sure you find the most relevant results.

Who are we? PYA is brought to you by Idea Catchers Group, LLC, a small web development firm based in north Texas, USA. We make an extra effort to buy American-made products whenever possible, and to support American companies and manufacturers.

Being Web folks, we shop online and do a lot of online research to find out about products and companies, and we noticed there were few really good resources that made it easy to "Buy American." Sure, there are a few directory sites with collections of links — but most contain outdated information, broken links or few links at all. As for shopping in the real world, have you ever tried to find made in the USA products at Wal-Mart? It's a frustrating experience to say the least.

Amongst our friends and colleagues, we heard from many people who wanted to buy more made in the USA products, but a common complaint was that it was hard to find them. Never one to step way from a challenge (and not one to accept excuses), PYA was born as a search engine for made in the USA products and US manufacturers. We started by gathering all the American-made products that we use ourselves, and PYA has grown from there.

PYA launched in January 2007 with more than 2,000 unique domains and over 100,000 pages in our index, and we're continuing to add more USA products and manufacturers all the time. We're always searching for Web sites to include in our results, too. Our dedicated staff works their fingers to the bone finding and approving Web sites and products for inclusion. We do accept suggestions, so if you know of a USA-made product that we should include, please tell us.

By the way, PledgeYourAllegiance.net and all of it's related technologies are made in the USA, and hosted on servers in the USA (in Texas to be precise). No outsourcing has taken place to bring you this site. We've never done it and never will.
